This causes a SWAT team or other armed law enforcement to be sent to that location. It's a serious crime with potentially deadly consequences for everyone involved.
Fortunately for this particular user, no one was harmed and the law enforcement officers who responded were aware of these types of calls. But the user acknowledged that this situation could have turned sideways in an instant, should the law enforcement officers not been aware.
Even professionals with specialized knowledge and technology can fall victim to these tactics. Scam baiting requires a deep understanding of criminal psychology, cybersecurity, and legal implications. It's a complex undertaking that demands significant resources and expertise.
